You do not need a long history with music to begin. Kyoto Future Music Institute creates welcoming spaces to learn through improvisation—listening, feeling, and responding in the moment, rather than only reading a score.

Adlib Tasting Session is a beginner-friendly community program based in Kyoto, also in Osaka (Sekime, Nagai Park, Suita), Kobe (Tarumi), and Nara. It is not a commercial lesson storefront; it is a public-benefit space for expression and connection across ages.
Okamoto Method Online is the body of that thinking.
It is an entry for people who cannot travel to Kyoto, and also the place to work through the warm-up and the later doors that a tasting session cannot reach. It shares improvisation ideas developed by Hirofumi Okamoto through text and video.
